Using these communication channels, it is then possible to do some creative "transactional" message to prompt the customer to respond and gauge the acceptance. This simply means that the message encourages the customer to respond and provide you with relevant feedback and not just "noise". For example, you choose to introduce 3 products or services and the 1st 10 customers who replies or buys the same receives the value add that comes with the 1st 10 purchases. You are then able to determine its popularity.
